Did Any Mosquitoes In Iowa Have Zika In 2016?

Unfortunately during the research, mosquitoes did test positive for another virus that we have all heard of in the past.  Although the effects of this virus are not as visually scary as Zika, but they are still life threatening.  Ryan Smith of the Entomology department said “46 positive pools is the second highest total the medical entomology lab has identified in its history. The highest total of positive pools was 66 in 2013.”
